Supervisor Goodman’s Community Town Hall Events

By The Office of Supervisor Goodman

We had originally announced our upcoming round of town halls for the month of July, but with back to school scheduling conflicts we decided to move them to August.

The area of San Tan Valley is a large unincorporated piece of Pinal County.  As most counties sit across our nation, they are not built to govern or manage such a large unincorporated populous.  Many of our San Tan Valley Residents spoke up through the San Tan Valley Special Area Plan as well as the District 2 Resident Survey and have requested services and amenities that are not traditionally provided through available county resources.

Our office, with the assistance of Pinal County Staff and neighboring Cities and Towns, would like to help educate our community on how our county resources are distributed and discuss different options centered on the San Tan Valley Special Area Plan that was adopted by Pinal County in 2018.

Please note, this is not meeting to advocate for future incorporation or annexation efforts; only a presentation that will provide facts regarding the questions our office receives pertaining to these topics.

Our main focus will be to answer commonly asked questions we receive from all of you and review the results from the District 2 Survey that we rolled out at the beginning of this year.

Mark your calendars and tell your neighbors and friends.  We will be holding 2 town hall meetings to shed some light on this multi-faceted issue.  Please join us:
