- Clothing and gear tips: The right clothes can keep you comfortable. Light, loose, breathable clothing, a hydration pack, and a hat will help immensely.
- Health tips: Protect yourself against sunburn by using sunscreen and re-applying every 40 to 80 minutes with SPF 30 or higher, prevent dehydration, overhydration, heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke by knowing your limits, slowing down, taking a break, or turning back around.
