Limited Shopping & Dining Became A Little More Limited Recently

In the last week, San Tan Valley has had several notable businesses close in the area.

Closures at the Shoppes of Copper Basin

Long time local favorite, Just Breakfast, which provide a variety of homemade breakfast dishes, closed it’s doors last week. Along with a local restaurant, the shopping complex also lost Live Lean Nutrition, a local shop offering nutrition shakes, teas, and air fried low-fat pastries.

The Shoppes at Copper Basin have been hit particularly hard with the ongoing construction taking place on Hunt Highway, along with high rent costs. Over the Summer the shopping complex also lost Rise, which is a facility that aids those with disabilities.

Closure at the Walmart Shopping Center

A larger business, Pet Club on Hunt Highway, suddenly closed its doors Sunday at 5 PM to the surprise of nearly the entire community. The location attempted to sell off as much of its merchandise as possible during their remaining hours. Remaining inventory was to be relocated to the location on Ironwood and Ocotillo.

With the already limited options for retail shopping and dining in San Tan Valley, this makes options even more limited to San Tan Valley residents.
