AT Support 4-Inventory Control - 2nd shift

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued for manufacturing inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts
  • Works with the business teams to maintain inventory accuracy and perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies
  • Prepares data for computer input and works with computer printouts
  • Audits all system transactions, paperwork and monitors production reported versus system account of production
  • Performs cycle counts, controls system movement of material in and out of MRB, monitors MRB inventory to ensure accuracy
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of propellant in the magazines
  • Support cycle counts of the magazines
  • Support ATF audits, including preparing annual inventory of the magazines
  • Support propellant pre-build efforts, including pulling samples and submitting them to the lab
  • Performs training regarding paperwork and data entry to current ERP/MRP computer system
  • Reconcile discrepancies from cycle counts of physical inventory versus system inventory.

Excellent communication skills both oral and written required. Able to operate PC based software programs and operate automated business systems. Able to take initiative and follow-through on assignments.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Regularly, operate fork lift and golf cart.

Packout Operator - Weekend Shift

Shift – Saturday, Sunday and Monday

6:00am – 6:00 pm (1st shift) – 2 positions
6:00pm – 6:00 am (3rd shift) – 2 positions

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under close supervision performs repetitive packaging/shipping activities.

  • Removes all suspect units from packaging (rejects, weight algorithms, etc.)
  • Re-images all units deemed rework required
  • Pulls any LAT re-samples and submits to the test lab
  • Coordinates all movement of material in and out of physical sorts
  • Ensures accuracy of all quantities on tote labels/master pallet labels prior to release from SHP
  • Bands and utilizes pallet lift or forklift to move all material to truck staging lanes according to shipping direction.
  • Interfaces with the MRB team and test lab

Ability:
Must be able to be forklift certified. Must have packing system knowledge.

Master Scheduler I

Job Description:

Under limited supervision performs a variety of tasks administrative/technical tasks in the Materials department. Position requires knowledge of the different areas in the department (Inventory Control, Scheduling, Traffic and Planning). This position will perform duties in various areas as needed.

Develop site master schedule based on customer requirements.
Order and expedite purchased materials as needed to support production and ship schedules.
Supervise physical inventories and assume responsibility for inventory levels.
Coordinates SAP activities for appropriate planning of stock levels to meet customer demand and to also to meet predetermined safety stock of finished goods.
Works with vendor base and communicates direct material needs.
Works with production to provide a shop plan to meet customer needs.
Develop production schedule on a weekly basis based on customer requirements, material availability, equipment, and work hour capacity. Distribute production plan to appropriate personnel.
Review proposed schedule as well as completion of such materials group and production manager in production meetings.
Release material against blanket purchase orders (domestic and foreign suppliers) to support production schedule as well as pass-thru business.
Communicate schedule updates with suppliers on a weekly basis.
Closely monitor the daily material requirements for production. Ensure that materials are available for all shifts. Immediately report shortages to both the logistics and production managers.
Track supplier delivery performance as specified in the supplier requirements manual and corresponding procedures. Submit delivery performance results to the purchasing manager monthly.
Assist logistics manager and materials planner with cycle count system.
Track inventory trends, including inventory turns. Distribute reports and/or graphs at month end.
Coordinate annual physical inventory with logistics and production managers, and sub-contract suppliers.
Maintain the following reports: Production schedules (weekly) and Inventory Turns report and/or graphs (monthly).
Participate in APQP process as assigned by the logistics manager.
Work closely with all departments to ensure smooth, timely launch of programs

Abilities:
Excellent communications skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment that may require work during non-scheduled workdays/weekends. Computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets. Must be detail oriented.

2-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have experience with inventory management systems, MRP. Experience with SAP preferred.

ZF’s global Occupant Safety Systems (OSS) business develops technical solutions for passive safety systems: Seat Belt Systems (SBS), Steering Wheel Systems (SWS) and Inflatable Restraint Systems (IRS). Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide Controls Engineering support and process improvement work for automated high volume manufacturing lines.
  • Provide production support for manufacturing lines from the cell controller down to the device level (includes ensuring accurate traceability data collection, troubleshooting, scrap and LAT reduction, and improved process reliability.VA/VE activities).
  • Support business unit objectives by prioritizing projects, designing interfaces for new equipment and making decisions that affect the long term production process.
  • Provide vendor management and supervision.
  • Manage machine controls for projects.
  • Create and maintain documents and/or databases with team support. Projects typically meet the immediate needs for the business unit. Such activities vary from clerical, to editorial, to creative; e.g. creation/revision of APQP documentation, MI, PI, SOP, maintenance of equipment configuration documents, etc.
  • May provide work to clerical support or unskilled labor including operators employees or technicians.
  • Work with team members to resolve customer issues related to quality and design, resolve issues relative to the process and equipment and implement the required changes to production lines.
  • Work with Design Engineering to implement changes due to product changes.
  • Review and make recommendations to improve product design and processes, using various analytical methods and tools (Design for Assembly, Manufacturing and Experiments).
  • Work with the core team (Design, Quality, Supplier Quality and Manufacturing Engineering) on new product development and implementation.
  • Approve design changes and verify these changes do not adversely affect the process.

Minimum Experience:

  • 7 to 8+ years of experience
