The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for daytime lane restrictions on US 60 west of Superior Wednesday, May 8, and Thursday, May 9, for pavement preservation work.
Crews are scheduled to complete an oil flush both days between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. US 60 will be reduced to a single lane in each direction between El Camino Viejo and the Queen Creek bridge (milepost 208 to 222).
Westbound lanes will be affected May 8, and eastbound lanes will be affected May 9.
Drivers should expect delays, especially during peak traffic hours.
Motorists should allow extra travel time and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
