It Is Still A Problem, But It Appears To Be Improving
After seeing months of exceedances taking place on multiple days a positive trend of a reduction in days that have exceedances has taken place over the last couple of weeks.
For the week of September 13th through the 19th, only one day of exceedances took place with a parts per million of .110. That number is higher than we have been seeing recently, but, again, only one day of exceedances. For the week of the 20th, again only one day with exceedances with parts per million reaching .058 three times. After a massive spike with over 80 exceedances in August, the hope is that the current trend of a reduction in the number of exceedances continues and is a sign of improvement.
For residents that have questions regarding the exceedances at Section 11 Wastewater Treatment, or any other questions regarding the utility, EPCOR will have a community meeting for residents at the Central Arizona College San Tan Campus On October 11 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.
