How to care for your animal this Fourth of July.

Did you know after the Fourth of July celebrations, nearly four dozen animals find their way inside our Pinal County Animal Care and Control shelter?

That’s ten times more than the daily average!

In order to prevent this from happening make sure to keep your pets inside and play the TV over outside noise. It is important to make sure your animals are microchipped and have some form of identification. Every year our shelter offers a $5.00 microchip special, two weeks prior to Fourth of July.

If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of losing your animal make sure to reach out to the shelter’s call center at 520-509-3555. You can also contact the shelter on their Facebook page, Pinal County Animal Care and Control, with a photo of your animal. Lastly, fill out a lost animal report on
