Four former Poston Butte student-athletes have begun their college athletic career.

Taylor Strupp has moved on to Colorado State University-Pueblo, Ronni Rae Sample is at Lindenwood University in Missouri, and Skyler Jenkins is at Montana State University Billings. All are starting their college softball career.

Additionally, Megan Clark, also a Poston Butte graduate, begins her second year at Lindenwood University. Last year she was named as a 2018 AII-MIAA Honorable Mention as well as an NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete as a freshman! Clark produced a .313 batting average, .427 on-base percentage, and a .450 slugging percentage. She also had 31 runs, 9 doubles, 3 home runs and 33 runs batted in. The 33 RBIs represent the third all-time highest for Lindenwood.

It’s great to see local students moving on to success.
