Job Description: 

Investigate reports of cases or clusters of reportable infectious diseases for the Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology Section (IDES) in compliance with Public Health Services Department (PHSD) and Federal and state disease protection and response requirements under basic supervision.

Typical Essential Duties 

Conducts firearms training for deputies and detention officers to include instruction on handguns, rifles, less lethal shotguns, and related authorized weapons, instruct personnel on range safety procedures, assembly and disassembly of firearms and related equipment. 

Develops lesson plans and provide classroom instruction; conduct decision making training utilizing the use of force simulator, live fire, or force on force scenarios.
