The Marketing Coordinator plays an integral part in the development, execution and launch of short and long-term strategic marketing campaigns. Utilizing the fundamentals of communication through content creation, presentation, analysis, review, and reporting.

Summary of Position

Maintain overall brand image by assisting the VP of Business Development in making decisions and choosing avenues that best speak to the life and identity of the Queen Creek Olive Mill brand. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Public relations, content creation, branding, communication development, implementation, measurement, and monitoring effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of traditional and digital marketing campaigns.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications or 3+ years past experience in similar role
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing 
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, Google Drive
  • Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company’s field
  • Practices superior time management
  • Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword 
  • research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social”
  • Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution

Traffic Operations Engineer

Salary: $78,992.00 – $107,046.46 Annually

About the position

Under supervision of the Transportation Engineering Manager, performs technical skilled work developing, planning, organizing, and supervising the Town’s traffic system, including the design, review and construction of roadways, signal systems, signing and striping, intelligent transportation system (ITS), neighborhood mitigation, and traffic operations. Provides professional and specialized traffic engineering support, recommendations, and technical assistance to Town Management, Town Council, staff, private developers and outside agencies.

Typical Qualifications:

Training and Experience (positions in this class typically require):

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, Engineering or a related field; Five years professional experience in the planning, design and/or construction of transportation projects. Municipal experience highly desirable; Professional Engineer (PE) registration required. Professional Traffic Operations Engineer Certificate (PTOE) preferred.

About the position

Incumbents lead the off-site inspection on Town CIP and other projects or building inspection program. Duties include: performing site/field inspections and record keeping, leading inspection staff, reviewing plans and specs for projects; and preparing reports.

Typical Qualifications:

When assigned to engineering inspection, requires an Associate’s Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field and five years experience performing a variety of construction and engineering inspection; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Billing and Compliance Specialist – Utilities

About the position

Incumbent is responsible for creating Town of Queen Creek utility bills and ensuring utility accounts are billed timely, accurately, and are timely received by Town customers. Includes establishing, billing, adjusting, auditing, and processing utility accounts; system testing, monitoring, analyzing and correcting utility billing discrepancies; making billing adjustments; creating and reviewing reports to identify billing errors and quality controls; reviewing unusual utility account activity and making necessary adjustments.

Training and Experience (positions in this class typically require):

Associate’s Degree or technical certificate in related field and three years full-time experience in a utility provider environment involving billing customers, billing procedures, quality controls, reports, account maintenance, and customer contact skills; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. 


  • Customer service billing best practices, policies, procedures, and techniques for a residential and commercial utility billing operation;
  • Computerized Utility Billing Customer Information System (CIS) system, all related peripheral systems and devices and specialized software applications;
  • Meter reading operations, imports, systems and interfaces;
  • Monitoring CIS systems and interfaces for quality and accuracy of billing
  • Creating system reports, Crystal reports, and formulas and spreadsheets in Excel;
  • Hardware and software configuration, testing and set up;
  • Principles and procedures in financial record keeping and reporting.
  • Financial recordkeeping methods including maintaining, adjusting, and making credits, and debits to utility accounts;

  • Calculating and creating accurate utility bills utilizing a utility billing (CIS) system.
  • Prioritizing workload and managing time effectively to meet critical deadlines
  • Maintaining complex records with accuracy and researching information and data to prepare clear and concise reports;
  • Applying analytical thinking to analyze and interpret mathematical and billing information;
  • Communicating complex ideas effectively both orally and in writing with a high degree of accuracy;
