Have You Seen Huckleberry?
By Amy Simpson
I am trying to help my neighbor and friend find his Australian Shepard “Huckleberry” who is male and 3 years old.
He went missing at 11 pm on 12/31. They were outside and decided to go over to the neighbors. The dogs were wet from playing in the rain and seemed to be unbothered by the fireworks. He returned a short time later and Huckleberry was gone.
Flyers have been posted, missing posts are on Facebook, Next Door, Craigslist. Eddie has been out on horseback looking for him and I have been out in some of the surrounding desert areas in my truck.
He has also been talking with a pet communicator/psychic as he needs something to keep up his hope. She states that Huckleberry is still alive but that someone picked him up and now has him the south Coolidge area. I personally was a bit skeptical until he received a call from a woman in that area that said she swore she saw Huckleberry running in a field in that same area. Eddie, the dogs owner immediately drove to the area looking for him and has since gone back at night but no luck finding him,
My heart breaks for Eddie. He is devastated and misses his buddy. I hear him outside at 3:30 am yelling for his “Hucklebear” This was his and Huckleberry play time while he was feeding the horses. The world is also super quiet at this time so there’s a better chance Huck might hear him calling for him.
He went missing from Daniel Rd and Gary in the Foothills he is a tri-colored brown, tan and white Aussie, male 3yrs old. He is very friendly and would have run up to the first person he could find. His owners name is Eddie Baldenegro his phone number is 480-495-0597. A reward is being offered.
Please Help bring him home!!!
