Combs High School Student Selected As First Chair Oboe

Congratulations to Caroline Wu, a junior at Combs High School. Caroline is the first chair oboe in the AllState band! Over spring break, she went to Indianapolis to participate in the Honor Orchestra of America as their first chair oboe. This kid is going places!

About the Honor Orchestra of America

The national Honor Orchestra of America is an inspiring, meaningful, and thrilling experience for outstanding high school orchestra musicians. Students get to rehearse and perform with renowned conductors and perform for a “dream audience” of outstanding school musicians and educators from across the United States.

Honor Orchestra of America members hail from across the country, from music programs large and small.
