House Speaker Pro Tempore T.J. Shope (R- 8) received a 2018 Golden Apple Award from the Arizona Parents for Education for his continued support of public education.
Arizona Parents for Education advocates on behalf of Arizona children to ensure they have the tools needed to be successful in Arizona’s online schools.
“It’s an honor to be awarded this Golden Apple Award from the Arizona Parents for Education,” said Representative Shope. “I’m proud to stand with students and their parents to ensure they have the best tools for academic success.”
Other winners of the Golden Apple award that represent Pinal County include:
- Representative Coleman serving District 16 from Apache Junction
- Senator Smith serving District 11 which covers Maricopa, parts of Casa Grande, and a few other areas of Pinal County.
