These last few weeks have been stressful for our 2 year old cat Lulu. We noticed when we came back from Alaska that she had blood in her urine and she was marking different areas in the house. We took her to the vet, and they gave us some anti-biotics. Which turns out, didn’t work. (She we will be going back on Monday for more tests.)
Before we took her to the vet, we tired ‘Licks’ to help with her possible UTI. You can buy Licks at PetSmart, and other Pet retailers. We also decided to try one for our older cat Filbert to help with his aging, plus he doesn’t like to be left out.
Each individual packet is like a paste which you place on the cats paw for them to lick off. Sounds easy right? NO!
First off, the paste stuff smelled like rancid tuna. Secondly, it was black.
The paste was almost to a glue like consistency.
Lulu, wanted nothing to do with it. In fact she threw her paw around to try and get the substance off her paws.
Filbert, also wanted nothing to do with it. He is smarter than Lulu, and he wiped the stuff off on his scratch post.
If your pet is used to taking any sort of medicine this product may work for them. Mine are stubborn and only like Temptations cat treats. This product resulted in bath time for both cats (fun!) and the throwing away of the other 9 packets.
