About County Assessor, Douglas Wolf 

Douglas Wolf is the 21st person to serve as your Elected County Assessor. Mr. Wolf was elected in 2012. His career before public service was in the real estate and technology sectors. He was a licensed broker in California for 25 years. He was also the Sales and marketing director for REA Inc., a firm that publishes software for the commercial real estate brokerage market. 

Mr. Wolf was born in Minnesota and graduated from Mankato State University in 1980 with a B.S degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Mass Communications. He is the author of 34 published books covering a wide range of topics from computer field, “Crystal Reports 8 for Dummies” to business “Marketing Me Book: How to keep your job in any economy.” 

Mr. Wolf and his wife Gloria reside in San Tan Valley and have two adult children. He enjoys playing tennis and traveling.

Douglas Wolf was also recently appointed to the National Committee On Agriculture And Rural Affairs.

The NACo Agriculture and Rural Affairs Steering Committee is responsible for elevating the county voice in all matters pertaining to U.S. Department of Agriculture programs related to agriculture, rural development, rural renewal energy development, research and extension, food safety and conservation.
