HOHP/Eagles Landing Veteran Center
About The Speaker:
HOHP began as a small group in 2011 that consisted of Veterans and community organizations that recognized the need to work on building a network of support for Veterans and Military Families in Pinal County. The apparent lack of services in the county was the driving factor that led the group to form an organization that could begin to serve Veterans in communities countywide and educate the public on Veteran’s needs. In 2013, the group elected their first board and applied to become a 501c-3 non-profit organization – March 3, 2014 HOHP began its official status as a non-profit!!
Today, with the support of the Pinal County Board of Supervisors and the Gila River Indian Community, HOHP has the ability to provide services to Veterans in each community (once a quarter) in Pinal County through the Veterans Mobile Outreach Center “Eagle One” as well as, the HOHP Pinal County Veterans Center “Eagles Landing” that opened its doors on January 24, 2017. HOHP is very proud to be able to provide services and make connections for Veterans and Military Families with other organizations in the county to address their needs.

HOHP Pinal County Veteran Center “Eagles Landing” is located in Casa Grande, Arizona and serves as the “hub” for services to Veterans and Military Families in Pinal County. The center officially opened its doors on January 24, 2017.
Eagles Landing Veteran Center is open 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) from 8AM to 4:30PM. Thursday the center is open for extended hours to 6:30PM. Visitors to the center will be able to get information on services to Veterans and Military Families. HOHP provides referrals to support services that include: employment/training opportunities, housing/utility assistance, resume review and assistance, job development, job search tips, emergency assistance and food boxes.
Computers are on-site that can assist Veterans in accessing the VA My HealtheVet and EBenefits websites. A volunteer can assist with replacing DD214s and other military documents. There are also different scheduled activities during the week for Veterans and Military Families to access.
The center is housed with the Pinal County Arizona@Work Center (https://arizonaatwork.com/pinal/) which helps with connecting Veterans to employment and training opportunities.
