Middle And High School Students Were Recognized By The Town

Ten local middle and high school students were recognized by the Queen Creek Town Council at the March 6 Star Students ceremony. The Star Students program recognizes students who are helpful and considerate of others while demonstrating leadership skills. Teachers at participating schools nominate students to be recognized during the ceremony.

The Town Council was proud to recognize the following students:

Benjamin Franklin: Tyler Eaves and Alyssa LaMont

Newell Barney Junior School: Alexis Clark and Vincent Lozano

Queen Creek High School: Joseph Shearer

Queen Creek Middle School: Matthew Dillon, Danica Dyas, Maggie Hakes, Price Nelson, and Andersen Oram

“Star Students provides a fantastic opportunity to recognize the outstanding youth we have here in Queen Creek,” commented Mayor Gail Barney. “We continue to appreciate all of the great things they are doing to make our community special.”.
