Hunt Highway reopened at 3 PM on Friday, August 24. After the closure is removed, there will still be work ongoing for the next couple of weeks along the Hunt Highway shoulder; please continue to drive with caution with road workers present. On behalf of the project team, we thank you for your patience during this work!

Scheduled for the week of August 27:
Paving crews will lay temporary pavement along the east side of Hunt Highway, from Gantzel/Johnson Ranch south to Quartzite Road for the next phase of work to begin. This temporary pavement will allow traffic to be maintained on Hunt Highway during this phase of the work.

Scheduled to begin the week of September 3:
Hunt Highway traffic, between Gantzel/ Johnson Ranch and Magma, will be shifted to the east side of the road and onto temporary pavement, one lane in each direction, for work to begin on the west side of Hunt Highway.

Work on the Judd Road and Tourmaline alignment continues with paving tentatively scheduled for late August. Judd and Tourmaline connections tentatively planned to be open by the end of September.
